The option(s) you SHOULD have gotten

Sorry, been really busy with work as of late and haven't checked my PM's lately.
As of yesterday, my vette has been loaded onto a rail car and shipped from Toledo, OH and is currently on its way down to Mira Loma, CA. I've received my railcar number from MacMulkin this morning as well. I asked them to activate OnStar but am still waiting for my email with my account code so that I can activate it.
Everything seems to be going smoothly thus far!

I ordered a '15 A8 Z51 3LT Laguna Blue exactly the way I wanted, towards the end of the ordering year. Exposed carbon fiber roof was on constraint so I reluctantly accepted the Transparent Roof to move the order through (I wanted a 2015). I'm still on the hunt for a LB exposed CF roof but the transparent roof doesn't hurt the C7's looks and I'm getting used to it. No regrets.

'14 2LT with EVERYTHING except for NAV, painted calipers and the roof options, no regrets, don't really care for the suede and more leather on the 3LT.

I can't say i would have gotten mine any differently as it was an ordered car: Base 2LT MN7 NPP in NRB/Black - I was on the fence for NPP, am just glad MacMulkin talked me into it: I would have regretted not getting that.
If I ordered the car now I might get a 1LT instead as I don't use the heads-up display, heated/cooled seats, seat memory or autodim, and having heard the 1LT & 2LT Bose stereos, the 2LT isn't really better sounding just boomier in the 70-100 hz range.

Oh, and I added the transparent top, and liked the painted gray stock wheels over chrome with Long beach red. I really do like all the options for individual buyers though. As they say, "to each their own".
I'm not sure if LT1 and base are redundant. There are so many options I get confused.

I bought mine off lot and added the two missing options I wanted. Carbon Fiber Dash and Competition Seats. Both were added for less than option sticker price.

No regrets on my 3LT base vert with NPP and nothing else. Well maybe machine faced wheels, but not a big regret.

With the exception of the Z06 option and trims, in my 2015, I got everything and am glad that this gives me so much more to explore and exploit. Someone said something about have it and not need it trumps need it and not have it. Digging a little deeper I am srill trying to learn how long my nose is when parking and I would have liked to have the 2016 front cameras.

Given my budget (and spousal) realities, I wouldn't change a thing. No budget constraints, I'd have gotten the PDR, and maybe the 3LT package.

To do it all over again(this was a dealer in stock car), I can't say it might be much different. I will to a few hpde's with it, but it's such a good looking car the way it is..IF I had more money, a Z06..but no regrets as I never thought I would ever achieve what I have today.. Thank God!

iBack in high school fifty-something years ago, i hated my ****-retentive english teacher who made us memorize such timeless schlock as “whan that aprille with his shoures soote, the droghte of marche hath perced to the roote….” (no kidding, that’s the correctly spelled first two lines to canterbury tales). But i at least should give him credit for learnin’ me that “should have got” ain’t no way for cultured folk to talk.

Went to the dealer to order mine, saw a car on the lot that I fell hard for!
It had three options I wasn't going to order:
2 top option
Mag ride
PDR
But it didn't have what I was going to order:
Comp seats
Full stripe
Carbon interior
Suede inserts
However I, for the most part, am happy with my purchase..... that is until I toured the plant and saw a C7.R in black!!!!!

I’m sorry in advance. This will almost certainly be viewed by most as an ****-retentive comment. But “should have got”??????? Actually, I'm not a Vette owner any more (previously had a C4, C5, and C6) so I can't comment on your exact question. But for my current car, 2010 CTSV coupe, I wish I'd waited a year for blind spot detection to be available. Visibility to the right rear in my car is seriously bad. Otherwise, it's a great ride. Obvious Vette heritage in drive train, and vastly more friendly for later years.
This paragraph added a day later. Thanks to OP for correcting the thread title. Hope it didn’t cause you any significant grief. All was done in good humor from my end.

I missed out on 2 options I'd like to have - the Carbon Fiber dash (FAY) which was constrained when my allocation became available; I decided not to wait since the wait time was unknown. I know I can add now, but can't justify it, since the standard dash is fine.
I was unaware of the suede/alcantara roof lining, and would have liked that.
Oh well, I saved ~$2000 by not ordering these options. I love the car, so it's not a biggie in the grand scheme of things.

My only regret is that I wish I would have traded by 2012 Camaro and my 1998 Vette and sprung for a Z06. Oh well...I do love the car otherwise and you never know when I might decide to be a 2 Vette household again!

'14 Cyber to '16 Shark...basically ordered an identical car
'16 wheels = big improvement
CF emblem option includes black grille bar
