Default 93 Octane under $2

Today a BP station in Brookfield Wisconsin has 93 Octane with 10% Ethanol for $1.999.

Never thought I would see that again.

I see you're in New Berlin. I grew up there and have many fond memories. My mom and brother still live in Brookfield.

Haven't bought premium for a while since my C5 is in storage and my other cars run on regular. But with an 87 octane gas running $1.49/gallon, I would think premium is right at $1.99.

Do you remember the McDonald's at 143rd and Capitol? I used to run it.

Local Costco (DC suburbs) was $1.979 for Premium last week, and $1.639 for regular. Regular's dropped about 15 cents over the last few weeks, premium only 2 cents.

Same in LA, in fact there's one Shell station nearby that's still trying to swindle drivers for $4 for a gallon of the "good" (91 octane) stuff... Must be a money laundering front or something...

Too bad we don't have 93 octane fuel anywhere around here though...

Austin prices are like San Antonio and Dallas prices. Nice for those of us buying gas, a little tough on the economy overall.

Won't last long. The Obummer wants to add a $10 tax to each barrel of oil for Green Energy. At current prices, that represents a 33% tax increase. Only 346 more miserable days left till we are rid of him, well minus the blessed days he plays glof..

I confirmed your news but was encouraged that the Republican controlled congress will stomp it and that even HC is waffling on it even though she will more than likely make Obama a supreme court justice if elected. Has he even worked as an attorney in his life? Been in a courtroom other than the mock ones he was put in during his university gig? Get out and VOTE!
