Default Ron Fellows Driving School

My 2016 Z51 3LT came with a discount package to attend the Ron Fellows Driving School outside of Las Vegas. I am considering flying out to attend but am looking for feedback from anyone that has taken the course. Is it worth the discounted price of $1000 for the course? Was the driving experience as good as they claim? Any info would be appreciated.

What SK360 said regarding search -I did it before I went, which was last week and it was everything that I expected and more.
The cool part is that they try to put you in the same Corvette that you bought and they will show you how to use everything that is available with the mode settings, PDR etc.

I was there in Oct. 2015 and it is absolutely worth every penny. Fabulous facility, great instructors and unbelievable driving experiences. Do not miss it.

Thanks for all the replies. Myself and two friends with new C7's will go together. I will really consider adding the 3rd day since it is worth the extra cost considering I have to fly from Florida.

Called and asked about availability. They're like 2 months out right now. Seems popular...

Was there in June, and I'm going back this year for more! Absolutely first rate organization. You'll enjoy yourself and learn lots about your car! Do it!

I jest received my official offer in the mail. I can't afford it this year. Do I have to use it asap? Or can 9 get an extended time to use it?
Is there any way to learn more about what they teach you. Like is there a video of the class time?

I just got back a week ago today. My course was Feb 1 and 2. Loved it. You will too. Highly recommend it.

Here is a PDR video from my last run on day two to give you an idea.

You have 12 months from the time you pick up your car. You can go over a couple of months and it is solely at the discretion of GM when Spring Mountain enters your Vin# if it is approved, couple of months may not be a big deal. Going in June and picked up my car in May so I got an extra month.

Sooooooooo I just pulled the trigger on booking this trip.

I will be attending May 25,26!

I was just about to pull the trigger on some wheels when I thought I'd rather spend that money on a track experience for my car.
What better way than to go to this school and track someone else's Vette!!

Excited

Short answer, YES.

Long answer, haven't seen one negative comment about the school. Wife and I will both attend.

You're going a couple days before my dad and I. Ours is 5/31-6/1. Trying to figure out some shoes and what kind of rental car I'm gonna get. I though maybe a new 5.0 would be fun. Rented a couple Corvettes and a 911S out there in the past, but I think it would be way too much money considering the car will be sitting in parking lots for 3-4 days...

Yeah I just rented a "Chevy Spark or equivalent" for $25/day.
Figured my driving thrill will be coming from the class so why waste money on a rental.
