Default A8 transmission problems poll

Choice#1: I have an A8, and I have experienced no issues.
Choice#2" I have an A8, and I have experienced minor and/or major issues.

I tried to start a poll, but I was not successful.

Early 2015, had 1st to 2nd hard shifts. Corrected at the dealer at 800 miles with bulletin #14876. 17,000 miles now and all is great. Wish I had ordered the rear wing. I don't see any other C7's with rear wings just spoilers.

No issues either the '15 or '16. Both with the A8.

Gee, folks -- I'd like a real poll set up on this.

Proposed choices: (For A8 owners, obviously)

1. No issues.
2. Minor issues, now corrected
3. Major issues, resolution pending
4. Major issues, torque converter replaced
5. Major issues, transmission replaced

Other thoughts?

FWIW, I have an A8, about 9200 miles, built in Feb 15, initial hard downshift to first when slowing to a stop, and hard shift 1st to 2nd when cold, all self corrected with "self-learning" transmission, not reported to dealer. About 9200 miles. Fingers crossed.

I'm intrigued. Can you enlighten a bit about how to perform / get a good trans tune?

2015 Z51 A8. On these cold winter mornings after sitting all night C7 starts up fine and shifts into reverse fine to back out of the garage no issues. Shift into D and move forward and you can feel a slight bump when first gear shifts to 2nd gear. Once the car warms up this goes away. Actually when the trans is warm the shifting is so smooth without the sound of the motor changing you would not know the gears are changing. The Trans is terrific except for that first 1st to 2nd shift. Anyone know if a "refresh" would correct this. Trans shifts so good otherwise I hesitate having the dealer mess with it. Any thoughts.

That is why I use the paddles initially till it has the chance to warm up. You have control of the shift points !
