Carbon Flash Mirrors on Arctic White - Yay or Nay?
Believe it or not, this is one of the options I'm struggling with in a potential Arctic White C7(Z) order. Typical 3LZ Arctic White with Carbon Flash Stage 2 spoiler/splitter/side skirts, Carbon Flash Stinger hood, painted roof and Adrenaline Red interior with Competition Seats.
Wheels will be either Silver Nickel or Black. If Silver Nickel, I plan to either powder coat them hyperblack or purchase a set of darker aftermarket wheels.
I've seen various pics and at times I like the Carbon Flash mirrors because they match up with other Carbon Flash trim/vents. However, at other times I think they look like mirror covers, especially on Arctic White due to the strong contrast.
Big deal or no big deal? If you have them, would you swap them out? If not, do you wish you had them?
I'm leaning towards the body-colored roof because I plan to tint the windows and I like the panoramic look. The CF roof IMO breaks that up.
O hell to the yes on the yay. But only if you also get the roof and black spoiler and badges to tie it all together
I'm leaning towards a Z06, so it will have all the Carbon Flash trim, spoilers, ducts, badges, etc., however I'm also leaning towards the white/body colored roof since I plan to tint the windows and that creates the wrap around look i want. The CF/white side roof would break that up. Plus, I may opt for the dual roof option which would give me the dark/clear transparent roof so I would have the black roof look if/when I wanted it.
BTW - I thought I created a poll for this, however I must have mis-clicked.
I got cf mirrors on my LBR car, so I'm biased because I think they look really sharp. I especially think so on white. This car doesn't look good to me when it gets too monochromatic, I like the contrast.
Beautiful! Pretty much dead on to the build I'm looking at except I'm leaning towards the white/body colored roof to match up with the full wrap-around window tint.
I went back and forth on this issue also, as we ordered our 2016 z51. I am so glad I went c/f on mirrors and spoiler. The c/f contrast is incredible with the sparkle in the black, all white is just too much, to bland. The car has beautiful lines, and the c/f contrast really sets them off. While not that unique on a C7, they are very unique on todays cars in general - that I like.

but need other black exterior parts to match with the mirrors. Definitely BLACK wheels.
