You decided not to sell the car? Thought I remembered you had a for-sale thread up on the forums.

I finally got to take my car out this weekend. It pretty much sat in the garage for the past two weeks due to rain.

One question though. Is it normal for the car to feel sluggish at low speeds below 25 mph? I have to get on the pedal quite a bit to get the car to wake up. I have only driven in touring mode so far.

In touring mode, yes. Touring mode basically slows throttle response and implements all the safety features on the car. I.e., traction control, stability control, etc. Touring mode is purely for putting around type driving. If you want to wake the car up a little without it being too aggressive for the street, place it in Sport mode 1. There are two sport modes. The first is what I would consider Street Sport mode and the second is more of a Track Sport mode. Sport 1 will definitely make the car feel more alive across the entire rpm range. Hope this helps.

I'm at around 70 miles now lol. I really need some time away from work with the car. One thing I can say is people were not kidding about the tires picking up rocks! I have a rock driveway and now the car is sitting in my garage until I get it paved.

I would put Suntek/XPEL on those rear quarters (the factory film doesn't really cover the whole impact area) and add the skirts (if you haven't already) and the splash guards before you end up with an unlucky rock scratch on the rear quarter. Ask me how I know lol.

Sticking with my 08 camry for now. But there is really no car that compares to the Vette with what all you get for the money. I started doing some research and only the 2017 Camaro SS that is a comparable downgrade. I might get this as soon as winter is over, or I will wait for the 2017 Z06 sales with 0% for 72 months.

LOL, pipe dream if you ask me on 0 for 72 on a Z06, but who knows. Too bad you had to lose the GS, nice car.

I don't know... Mike Furman at Criswell is currently offering all new 2016 Corvettes at 0% for 72 months.

So maybe in a year, he'd be making the same offer on remaining 2017 Corvettes? I guess we'd have to tune back in about a year from now.
