Any problem buying a new C7 built 7/2015?
I have a friend trying to decide between ordering a 2 LT Z51 now (with museum delivery) or buying a 3 LT Z51 off the lot that was built in July of last year. Both would be through a well known dealer. The 3LT carries a good discount but invoice shows a 7/7/15 date.
Does that mean it's been on their lot 10 months and would there be any inherent problems in buying it, notwithstanding that it has probably gone through a winter outside?
Any comments would be appreciated.

Your friend shouldn't have a problem. I bought a 2012 GS C6 built in Nov 2011 and sold new in May 2013. 13 months it sat on the showroom floor. Battery was replaced in June 2012. Never had any issues with that car. Recently traded for a 2014 C7 vert.

Should be fine, but I'd have them put a new, fully charged battery in the car. If the car's original battery has been drained a few times (which is likely), such will dramatically cut short the life of it.
Not worth the hassle, and small cost to the dealer to replace the battery.
