GM calls it black cherry metallic on a 2017 Buick Regal.

Not bad, better than the new blue.

That'll look great!

Funny in 1992 it wasn't an extra cost finish. A picture from 1992 My Black Rose and White Vert. What's old is new again.

Interesting. The supposed new Brown color isn't on that list. Wonder what the "New Sterling Blue" looks like?

I think that was a two/three year color back in the early nineties. It looked good with the Grey interior. Kind of like a cherry cola color. I wish they could have done a medium/dark bronze. The early C4 color.

This could be cool-I'm anxious to see it in person.

Pictures don't do it justice.
I'm not a fan of purple cars in general, but until you see the car in person you can't judge the color.
I'm anxious to see it outdoors as I only saw it inside the plant.
It has a deep metallic look to it, and I would struggle to say it's "purply" it's more subdued than that.
