While I love my Laguna Blue, I would just as easily have picked Admiral blue with its link back to Grand Sports.

+1 i like it a lot

Of late, exotic car makers have picked up on saturated red and blue finishes.

A nod in that direction, i believe...

Pretty disappointed with the new colors for 17.

I wonder if GM is giving us crappy colors now to further hype their new paint facility, Maybe 18 is when we see more/better colors.

I much prefer LeMans Blue or Navy Blue Metallic. This blue is not the blue I think screams Corvette. More like an Impala color.

Here's a photo I took to show the comparison between Sterling Blue and Blade Silver...

jagamajajaran - What's your take on the difference between Admiral Blue and Laguna Blue. I have looked at several photos of AB but can't decide if there is a difference.

They can market it all day long and call it sterling blue, but to me it isn't blue at all. My old cars posted below are BLUE.

2005 Pontiac GTO, impulse blue metallic

2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, stryker blue.

2013 Ford Mustang GT, deep impulse blue.

Lastly, 2016 Corvette Z06, laguna blue.

The interior is a two tone dark and light grey. It looks good with Sterling Blue but I'm not a fan. I still prefer my LB with solid grey interior.

Admiral Blue is a deeper and darker blue to me than Laguna Blue.

Here's another comparison of Sterling Blue and Blade Silver. Photos of both colors were taken of the two display cars both under shade at the same time of the day.

I saw this one at the bash and at first I thought it was silver, but then they had a '16 silver parked next to it and you could see the difference. The blue is very subtle, and with the two-tone grey interior of the one on display, it looked very classy. I liked it.

I think the color looks awesome and I will be getting it. It is much better for people who would have preferred silver over a darker blue. I was going to get blade silver but this is much nicer.

I think it gives the customers a good option. Some like sedated colors. And this is not a back hand compliment by the way.
