That panel fit is hideous.

****, my convertible top cover is about 1/2 inch from lining up with the inside part of the car. I just accept this as normal lack of QC and don't give a **** attitude of GM. Maybe I will have the dealer adjust it when I get the new torque converter installed. Better to get it scratched up all at once and get over it than to have to do it twice.

The rear fascia appears a bit low, like it may have slipped a bit. It should be adjustable.

Are you really schedules for a new TC or are you just assuming that you will need one ...

No, I have been waiting for three weeks now. They diagnosed it as bad TC. Felt the shudder from day one but thought it was just how a supercharged motor felt going into boost. You will need one eventually too.

Thats very interesting. I think you need to see a Podiatrist for toenail clippings.

I removed the entire fascia again and found that the plastic bracket which those bayonet fittings snap into had become detached from the inside of the fascia panel at its top end. This was allowing the fascia to sag and open the gap at the top. I mixed up some epoxy glue and reattached the upper end of the bracket. Those six bayonets are what aligns the rear end and controls those gaps.

Poor quality build. Totally believable at GM these days.

Gentlemen this is real upsetting because GM has not found a fix and has not recalled the vehicles for this rear panel/fascia issue. I have a 14 Stingray I picked up from the museum, so the spoiler was already on it...and if the temperature reaches 85 it bulges out embarrassingly. Does anyone here know of a dealer that has fixed this properly? My dealer is applying epoxy glue as a fix. These dealers are great at selling these cars but servicing them is a dam headache.

Mine was not great when I bought the car. Two years in Florida heat seems to have made the gap bigger. It is now 1/8th inch wide. I have an appointment to have it looked at.

NO EXOPY!!! There are clips inside the quarter that need to be adjusted. There is a post about this somewhere, keep looking

After my rear bumper was taken off 2 times, I have noticed a gap at the top on the left side. Looks like most of the panel fit problems are on the drivers side. Seems to me the factory has a problem.

I just noticed this same issue on my '15 Z51. Taking it to the dealer next Monday to correct, as well as fix the creaking noise from the removable top.

The gap isn't too horrible at the moment, but it has separated enough now to notice a spot that didn't get paint on it from the factory, so it almost looks like someone took a flat tip screwdriver to the inside to separate the panel.
