There was another mobile service for $300 less that would do it at my home. Sounded like a husband and wife team. They said it could be done in 4 hours with the both of them working on it. Kind of scared me.
How did it go with Appearance Solutions and how is it holding up? How much did you have covered and did you do window tint too? I have an appointment with him at the end of February, liked what I heard on the phone and he has great reviews. Sounds like he takes his time and does a great job, said he could have my car for almost two weeks!

He was awesome. Like a lot of drivers on this site, I'm really picky. They did a great job and are **** about care. I wouldn't use anyone else. Pm me if you need a ride back when you drop it off. I am in the area of his shop sometimes and could get you halfway back to Georgetown if it helps.

That's great to hear! And thanks for the offer, but my wife will get that chore. Still happy to meet up sometime though!

He really wanted me to trackwrap the car for my drive back from the museum, but I just don't think I can do it. I think I'll probably put a bra on it for the drive and cross my fingers.

I'm not sure what track wrap is, but if your driving it home, it will almost be a miracle if you don't have a chip or two by the time you get home.

If you want to see the finished product, you can stop by for a look. I'm off lotus road.

Ahh, you're not far, I'll be coming home from San Jose tomorrow (Monday), I get off at the Ponderosa exit and head on up the hill...PM me if you'll be around, if I have time on the way home maybe I'll take you up on that.

Track wrap is something Xpel sells, it's a roll of the material you can slap on for track use. He was suggesting I buy it and put it on for the trip to try and protect things until he gets his hands on it. We'll be needing all the time I can get and may only have enough time to get the bra slapped on and hope for the best....

+1 for your slash guard idea...I'd go GM.

Clear bra on front bumper is also highly desirable.

Bra on rockers, partial hood...your decision.

Lifting pucks are also desirable.

I am unsure what other area you wish to protect. Maybe door sills? There also seems to be some products to protect the windshield. Ragtop cleaning/ water proofing products for the vert canvas.

PS Love the color...have fun.

In talking with Appearance Solutions, short of covering the whole car, the package I was looking at covers:
Full Hood & Fenders
Bumper w/ splitter
Headlights
Mirrors
A-pillars
Full doors
Full Rocker Panels w/ side skirts
Full Rear Fenders
Side of rear bumper (full area behind rear wheels)

I'm in Antioch and had my 2017 GS done at Appearance Solutions! First time there but DEFINITELY NOT THE LAST TIME!! Mike did a FANTASTIC JOB ! Had it covered COMPLETELY.
Kind of like going to Abel Chev for service. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE !
