New Orange convertible yesterday
So I finally got off the sidelines and picked up my 2015 Convertible Corvette. 4th one in 30 years. I couldn't resist the discounts they are offering on new 2015s. I couldn't be happier with this car. The small dealer in the little town of Sonoma CA was awesome to work with.
So it's in my garage and I have to pick up a few things.
Xpel sill guards and maybe rocker guard (over $500...yikes).
I may go with Cleartastic to save a little. Considering the whole front clear bra but $1000-1500 depending how much I cover.
Splash guards from GM. After reading all the posts, they seem like the best bet. But if anyone has found better ones that are easy to install, I might reconsider.

Main things now are protection oriented. Any other protection I should consider?

I don't know if he's still in the business but if so, Jeremy Gomez (San Francisco) is one of the best in the business. He's done several of my cars and his work is second to none. The most recent phone number I have for him is (707) 328-5865.

Great choice in the color. Based on my experience with Xpel, I'd recommend it. I know it is expensive, but it does a great job protecting a car.

I drove by that dealership on Saturday and saw that car advertised for 20% off. You must of got a great deal on it.
What trim package is it?

It is a 1LT. I was actually looking for a different color, at least a 2LT and a few other things. I really like the color and the things missing from the 2LT don't bug me as much as I thought they would. It worked out to a little over 20%. Love the car. Haven't driven it since I got it home. It goes in for Xpel on Thursday. Splash guards are on the way.

The money you spend on Xpel would do quite a lot of paint touch up. At 6,000 miles my car doesn't need any paint work so I'm way ahead. Happy motoring!

You might want to consider adding side skirts to help protect the paint on the bottom sides of the car. Beautiful car!
