Default My baby on her way to Senior Prom

I was a nervous wreck Saturday night, let my 18 yr old Grandson take his date to the prom in my vette..............from 8pm to 12 last night I was on pins and needles and at one time alittle sick feeling. I wanted to give my Grandson something to remember the rest of his life. He's a straight "A" student, very responsible and smart as a whip or so I thought. LOL until he asked if he could borrow the Z06! I thought long and hard. 2 weeks. Well I gave him the FOB and some food for thought.....She came back home to me in perfect condition She was given special parking space by the local LEO's.I slept like a baby after I got her home.

What an awesome experience for your grandson! I sure hope he appreciates how tough that was for you. Incredibly nice of you. Not sure I could have done it, I would have been pins and needles too.

WTG!

Any chance you want to adopt some CF members?

I would like to borrow the Z06 next weekend!

Z06 to an 18 YO? I would have been tempted to lock in valet mode even though 3000 rpm can still go lickety split. Happy it came back to you still perfect. I have 15 years before I will be hit up by my oldest grandson.

Wow. Not sure I would do that.

However, you gave that kid a memory he's taking to the grave, but only after telling his grandchildren.

A z06. Dear god.

I don't think valet mode engages any rpm restrictions.

What a great story! That really was very considerate and trusting of you!
You provided him with an invaluable experience of love, trust and responsibility. Nice to see!

You sure made his senior prom one to remember - at least as far as the means of transportation goes.

He used up all his luck for the night just to get the Z06.
I bet he wishes he had that to do over.

True but, the kid is a straight A student and responsible. He made the right choice. His grandsons smile is something he'll never forget.
