Err, I mean "additive"

I have religiously used Stanadyne diesel fuel additive on my Silverado Duramax for the last nine years. I also use Stabil for my stored gasoline for my generator and other gasoline appliances. After a year of storage I recycle the gasoline into one of my vehicles and load up for another winter.

Do any of you use a fuel additive for your Vette? Any other thoughts on the matter? Waste of time? Bad to do? Good to do?

I have not. I have always thought of aditives as snake oil. To each his own.

Nope, never have in many years of having cars in storage for the Winter months no problems so I would say a waste of money.

I use Sta-Bil in my car when it is in storage from around the first of December until April. For the small cost, it is just a peace of mind for me. I also put a bottle of Techron in the tank about twice a year.

Aparantly GM suggests that we put "snake oil" in our cars if we don't have access to Top Tier Gas.
