Have the dealer fix it if it wasn't on the order form. I would not opt for a repaint, rather have new, OEM Carbon Flash vents installed. The dealer can then return or resell the painted vents.

Replace them all with bare CF ones
Personally either way is nice and will be an asset if you sell or trade in the future.

Have it your way, you are paying the bill, but I like it and I would like it even better if I did not tell the dealer I liked it and they would discount the one thousand dollar cost.
Hey, Good Luck and enjoy that beautiful car.

Welcome to the club. In 2014 I ordered an early RED 2015 from an out of state dealer. Eventually my car arrived in BLACK. The dealer did the right thing and took the car back, by truck. After another long wait, due to constraints, I received the car, as I ordered. The dealer sweetened the experience by throwing in a carbon dash, which at the time was a $1000 option.

My son got his from Les Stanford flew in from CA to drive it home. Dennis sent him pics the day before he flew in and he noted that the mirror and rear spoiler did not have the carbon paint option. Dennis asked him what he wanted done and asked them to paint them which they did.
Stanford and Dennis took care of the customer.

This is the proper way to correct their error. Plus, they need to absorb the option cost and the cost to "make it right".

I don't understand... if its a dealer installed accessory, then the car comes with the Carbon flash parts on it, they then take those extra boxes and install the optioned parts
If they installed this and didn't charge you, then just have them put the original ones back on. If they charged you, have them refund you as well.

This is what I was gonna say. Get the cost of the option removed and leave it as is. Perhaps it's not exactly how the OP ordered but I think it looks good the way it is.

I would have them order all CF parts
take it the way it is
and if u ever want to swap them do it
It is not hard to do but u have to know what your doing and most techs are careless

Make them buy you new carbon-flash vents and swap them out. I would not want dealer body-shop painted vents on the car. Who knows how well they'll prep all the little nooks and crannies in the vents.

thanks all
I'm over 3000 miles from the dealer, can only go by pictures
Dealer is going to get all 7 pieces new, get painted carbon flash & replace
Bummer, but dealer wants to make it right
