Honestly, it looks like someone had some nasty Taco Loco for lunch, couldn't make it the bathroom fast enough, saw an open top C7 and just took a huge Shat right in it.
It's too old man looking to be in a car that looks as sporty/futuristic as it does on the outside.
I get the whole luxury interior, sporty exterior thing. The euro guys pull it off well. This is not it, not by a long shot.

A bit of overkill. You can get close with the Kalahari. With something like LBR it can be quite stunning.

Not sure why people hate on this interior. I think it looks amazing, but has to be paired with certain colors.
I couldn't quite justify buying 3LT when I got my car and ended up with a 2LT Torch red w/ adrenaline red seats. If I had it in my budgets to get 3LT I'd be between what I got, and a black C7 w/ brownstone. Don't get the old man comment either. I'm 25. (23 when I bought it) Based on the red seats I currently have, safe to say I'm not concerned with things being flashy.
I think that interior is by far the nicest if the color combo with the exterior is right.

Glad you're amused. The only reason I say that is because they broke with the pattern and covered the entire dash. Compare that to a typical LT3 interior with Kalahari (or any color) and there's much more contrast with the latter. Contrast, IMO, really helps break up a mass of color. It's the same problem with LT3 black. You can't even see it, though black with red stitching is pretty compelling. Plastic red shifters? Not so much.
Overall Brownstone was a very nice option. I'm sorry they got rid of it just as I'm sorry they got rid of Laguna Blue. Fewer available options is not a good thing.

It was my favorite choice.
Having all black seemed boring. But all black works for certain color exteriors the same with wheel finishes. Got a black car then black wheels and black interior might just be the way to go.
With a green car I thought red seats would look to much like Xmas. But red seats look awesome in Black, Red and White cars.

Listen after 70 new Corvettes I think I deserve a shot in this post------Of ALL the Interiors Corvette EVER produced the BROWNSTONE was the Richest looking and had a certain amount of Elegance to it that the other Color Interiors never had.....Elegance and Corvettes for some reason do not mix...
Bring it back and I will go for # 5 with it-----Had my 2017 all picked out Black-Convert with Brownstone until I found out last Year it was heading for Extinction ..
Now I am not sure what but I have to decide fast with ordering starting soon.....I am on a personal Vendetta to get it back along with another Dark Green..........Regards and let the BASHING begin......Harvey

I'm not sorry. I have it with the Long Beach Red. The brownstone reminded me of my favorite baseball glove. You remember the one... It was the one you lovingly soaked with "3 in 1" oil to get that rich dark brown color and softness needed to play like a pro. Cant say I like all the suede the interior has but the brown leather is great. I think it beats the Baskeball Orange by a mile.

Brownstone makes for a class interior especially when paired with the right exterior color. One of the best combinations IMO is Brownstone and Crystal Red Met. 2015 was the last year for Crystal Red but Long Beach Red works just fine. I have had several Corvettes with black interior which kinda goes with any exterior color but Brownstone is value added. Friend of mine who puts fancy interiors in street rods liked the way Brownstone mixed in the slightly different color suede to high light the Brownstone. Love it!
