Default When to do Spring Mountain?

I'm considering about signing up for the 3 day class they have, but they only one they have is in late June. I'm wondering what you guys think about when to do it considering the heat. If I do it, should I wait until the fall or so?

I've heard the 3rd day is well worth it, so I want to go that route.

Yes, it will be hot, but the 3rd day is definitely worth it.

You don't want to go there in the summer. Believe me.

Ok, maybe I'll go for an open date/ not commit to the one class they have and go when they have more dates come up in the fall

It is so HOT in July and August that the nearby Frontsight Firearms Training Academy shuts down. It's too hot to be outside for any length of time.

You are not planning on the two day Corvette class that GM helps pay for then I would wait till it's the fall. I had to do mine this June as mine was about expire and is only available for the two day class.

Sessions fill up fast so don't get shut out. Anytime at Spring Mountain is a blast. I was there in October and we had one day of rain, but still drove the track that day at reduced speeds.

June & July are brutal - 100+ every day.
If I had my choice it would be from March 1 to Memorial Day or from Labor Day to Thanksgiving.
There is no 3-day class as part of the GM program anymore.

I also did my class at the end of August, last year, and while it was hot, it certainly was very easy for tolerate, even for an old guy. AC is always on, plenty of drinks, and the clasrooms are air conditioned. My wife and I were at Badwater in Death Valley just before; now that's hot!

I lived in Vegas. June is still better than August. Don't forget, it's a dry heat

If you're sensitive to heat, don't go. I, personally, would go. No big deal.

I've found that some people are happy no matter the weather, some are unhappy no matter the weather, and there are only a few whose happiness actually depends on the weather.

The desert is beautiful, btw. Sunsets and evenings are special.
