Default Anyone have issues with their 2016 A8 ?

My 2016 Z51 with the A8 is working fine,... build date 10-15-2015.
Fair to say it only has 2,600 miles on it but been putting it through it's paces considering it's only street driven.
And so far it's getting better and better with more miles.
So, with all the talk about A8 issues, reliability, failures and such, how many have had issues with their 2016 A8 ?

I have a relatively early 2016 Z06 with A8 (took delivery in early July. 2015). Havent had any problrms with mine. I dont know if its getting better, i just may be getting used to the shifting points.

Sorry to report, mine is a 2016 Z51, daily driven and only 3,158 miles..... Driving off the highway today my A8 shifted from 8th gear to N, then to 6th gear then 3rd followed by a loud CLUNK. I came to a stop, then noticed check engine ligh was on. From there I could only drive in 1st gear..... Got it all recorded on the PDR.... Heading to the dealer tomorrow morning.

2016 base built march 16,2016 and only 650 miles so way to early to tell but all is well for now and I hope it stays that way. I do have a noise I am chasing when I lightly accelerate but I don't think it is A8 related.

Just turned over 5k miles. 1300 mile roadtrip to the Bash. Build date late June 2015. Some rough 1-2 upshifts usually when cold. Also some rough 3-1 downshifts when coming to a stop, also when cold. I did notice any "shuddering" while using cruise control to and from the bash. I was able to achieve 32.5 mpg driving 75 mph in Eco mode. Not sure if I should ask for a reflash during 1st oil change.

My 2015 was built on Oct 27, 2014 close to your build. Have you had the A8 software reflashed yet? I have never been back to a dealership as I would rather do my own oil changes. So far everything is fine but I wonder if it should get the A8 program updated before there is a problem.

Picked my Z51 up last September, now has over 12,000 miles.

I have a big problem in that it puts a smile on my face every time I romp on it!

Other than that, it is awesome and well behaved when in cruise mode.

Mine saw plenty of track time, 1/4 mile passes, and spirited runs and was still running smooth as day one at 15k+ miles before I traded it in.

Another "nope" at ~4000 miles. And the more I use the paddle shifters, the more I love them.

Build date FEB 2016, purchased 3/25.
1LT base, non-Z51, A8
850 miles.

Very clunky 1-2, 2-1 low speed, light throttle.

My car is a daily driver that I intend to bracket race.

Put some miles on it, and take it somewhere that you can run through the gears with the paddles. Put each gear through its paces, throughout the RPM range, up shift and downshift, and it will get better.

The new tranny's have to learn... Hell, your engine is barely broken in.
