thanks--good link & info. Wonder why the GS is figured at 10% faster in 0-60 time than the std Stingray(table also shows GS approx 100 lbs heavier)

Faster because of the rubber, the E-diff and standard NPP exhaust.

Anyone notice the listed weights on the performance slide? Are those a mistake or "dry" weight?

Performance numbers are with the Z07 rubber

Weights are listed as dry weights, because Ferrari lists them that way so they wanted to show a true direct comparison (and make their cars look lighter than they are lol)

Amazing the GS only adds 25lbs (could be including the carbon ceramic brakes that are light)

Interesting that for the first time in 3 years, regular base models out sold Z51s.

Some of the things I just don't agree with, such as whichever stripe you pick, your hood vent WILL be the same color. ......

How could so many uninformed C7 buyers do that - we all know, as we have been told in dozens of threads on this forum- you are an idiot unless you opt for Z51

The more I study the GS, and what it offers for the price, the more I understand GM put it out there because it needs Z06 sales to drop considerably to keep the C7's fuel economy numbers in check.

It's crazy that 4 years into the generation, they still can't get enough of those. Sometimes I think it was sheer luck I got the OEM visible CF roof.

wait a minute, there were a bunch of people in here saying that the Z51 would cease to exist once the GS came out because that's what happened to the C6 Z51.

So the GS does the 1/4 mile .4 faster than a similar equipped base C7? Have to laugh at the "sales brochure" numbers. This is with the Z07 package correct? Throw some 265/305 Cup2s on your base for apples to apples and see how they compare.
