Just got some tow hooks for front and rear of 2016 Z06, the rear left side has a small square plate that looks like it is removable with a tab large enough for flat blade screwdriver.


However, when attempting to pry it, it seems very tight and don't want to scratch the plastic or damage it in an attempt to try to fit my Tow Hook Eye.


Any suggestions from members who have removed this Tow Plate on how to get it off/out?


Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated....

There's an indent at the bottom of the cover. Put a trim tool into that, then pry it open from the bottom. There are two tabs on top that hold it on plus a retainer piece that keeps it from falling on the ground:
