Launch Control on '16 Z51
#22
That run was an 11.81 @ 118 MPH. The car's computer doesn't account for the roll-in on a shallow stage, so it is a couple tenths off from the track.

Have any of you guys tried using different PTM moods to find out whether or not there's much difference between the five of them? If so what has been the preferred choice?

Sadly, I don't have those since I don't have magnetic ride

I've wondered the same thing. I've only launched in the 1st setting (wet I think), but wondered if the 4th setting, which is more aggressive on the track, would allow more power or wheel slip on the launch as well.

Sorry for the silly question but i have a 16 z51 7 speed manual. Is there launch control operation for manual transmission models? Also i was told i can hold my gas pedal to the floor without having to lift for shifts? - Mike

Launch conrol on the manual will hold the revs up higher than the autos do, and you just dump the clutch, hold on and get ready to start shifting. They also do have a wide open throttle shift feature, but don't miss a gear

HaHa. Yeah man that would not be good. I will try the features out on there own and that put the two together when I get used to them. To be honest many manual trans cars I have had I have shifted with the gas pedal mashed into the carpet.

I'm now wondering the same things. AND does anyone have real world track exp with 'Sport 1 vs, Sport 2?' I get the other modes, self explanatory. Is it just that the 'nannies' intrude more?

I just tried your theory with my conti's. RPM slightly different than actual traction control. Started off the roll good, then around 2800 rpm just started to roast the tire, so I let off.
