Well.....I didn't want "cute", I didn't want "little". I wanted something that grabbed you and shook you up! Actually, my wife was pulling for the Porsche. When she saw the Corvette, she changed her mind.

This car looks more like a Ferrari (F12 Berlinetta) than anything else. Can you live with that???
I like American muscle, I am a VETTE guy, but in this world of "diversity" I had to appease everyone (insert regurgitation humor here) so
I went Caucasian and non- Caucasian. Honestly the two cars are so different, but I do walk out and stare at the P-car wide body rear end after a few cold ones, and just marvel.

A Porsche is a Porsche is a Porsche, bla bla bla, boring

RIGHT NOW, the C7 is HOT

If you get a white one, I'd suggest opting for black/carbon flash accents everywhere you can get them (hood stinger, mirrors, emblems, spoiler....), that would look sharp.

If you ride around with a puppy in the car, you'll get lots of chicks.

What you don't understand is that if you need a car to get attention, you've got some serious issues.

Maybe you should be considering which gym to join instead.... just sayin'.

I was just at the point realizing I've wasted five minutes of my life reading this questionable post, and then Thunder22... You nailed what I was thinking.

I'm 20 right now and on my 2nd stingray... It gets LOTS of attention. Mainly good but with all "good" attention there's bound to be a little hate in every comment since I'm 20 with a car most people can't obtain working their whole lives for.... Just saying.. Be ready for the good and the bad attention. That's the raw truth.. I have a 2015 DSOM and boy is it an attention grabber. NO OTHER CAR IN IT'S CLASS CAN COMPARE!!! I promise you. I was looking at a Porsche Cayman before getting my first vette and honestly, it looks like a beefed up volkswagon bug after looking at it over and over again. But.. If you like the Porsche more, by all means go for it. At the end of the day it is all about what satisfies YOU! Just my 2 cents..

2 years ago when I ordered my C7 my neighbors wife asked me what color I was getting.

I said, "Torch Red"

She said, "Oh, you must want a lot of attention.

I said, "I'm getting Torch Red DESPITE the fact it may get a lot of attention."

Translated: My car, my choice, and the attention level a red sports car might get is irrelevant to me.

We were at McKenna Porsche yesterday looking at a 911 Carrera S. I showed the salesman a picture of our 2016 TR Coupe and even he said the 911 won't get the attention the Corvette does. When I asked about the availability of a PDR, front parking cameras, back-up cameras, etc., he said that's where Porsche falls on their face. He said they lack a lot of the tech goodies most cars have as standard equipment based on the level you order. Except for the back up camera not many are available on the 911 even as an option.

Dear Jerry:

One of the things about getting is that you stop caring about what most people think. In my case I never did (I was born with something that does not allow it), but if you really want attention buy a Lamborghini, the heck with Porsche's (I've owned 40 of them no attention at all where I live in a Porsche). I live very close to Algar Ferrari (I have bought 11 cars from them over the years) and even Ferrari's stop getting attention if you see enough of them. Point is Jerry if you are the type of person that needs the attention that a car brings you, well the people who will give you that attention will likely be a bit lacking themselves. It is almost 5 am and I needed a break from writing, this thread gave me just what I needed LOL

They all get plenty of attention from all different ages and genders. I don't know how old you are or what of lady you are trying to attract, but most smart women look past what type of car you drive to see the big picture, like what kind of career you have and the size of you bank account.

You should wait until you are old enough to drive before you make such a life changing decision.

All the attention in the world, FROM ME. WHO CARES what others think, I bought the car to enjoy. NOT about others, it's about what I ENJOY.

Not too much now that they've been out a while and are everywhere. Our Laguna Blue pops and isn't seen around here too frequently so it gets looks every so often.

Want a sausage magnet? Buy a GT-R
What a chick magnet (and sausage magnet)? Buy an Audi R8

Some of you guys must have forgotten your youth or you were in seminary school during that time.

Young girls are attracted to the C7. When I go to visit my brother, my 18 year old niece and her friends are out there taking pictures with their cell phones and ask if they can sit in it and take more pictures.

I'm almost 50 but I still recall the things I would do to get a girl's attention. Driving a C7 does not make you "an old dude". The typical demographic is +55 but there are still a lot of under 30 Corvette drivers.

Some people need to remember back to their 20's.....
