Exhaust rumble, getting better and better
Just turned 2650 miles and the last couple of days the exhaust rumble is getting louder. I love it.
Just wondering if any else has noticed any difference in their exhaust with more mileage on the car.

A lot have commented that it got quieter, which they probably just got use to it. There is no packing to blow out, so there is really no reason for it to get louder, but if you think it is, then cool

Mine didn't change until I had Bullets installed .
Evidently, YMMV.

My daily driver Z51 has gotten more interesting the longer I've had it. I'm sure it never backfired on some of my more aggressive 1st-2nd gear shifts when I first got it. That started happening occasionally after 25K miles or so. Not sure if that's a sign of anything bad, but I like it :-)
A few weeks ago (just shy of 30K miles) I took my wife out and couldn't help but notice the car did sound louder, fuller, and more "angry". Probably no reason for that to occur... but I'm fairly certain the NPP character changed a bit for the better.
Btw I've had my fuse 41 out since 3K miles or so.

A while ago I read that testosterone levels were linked to driving a Porsche. I just did a web search (click here for some results) and there is a lot of noise that it doesn't have to be a Porsche, thankfully. Fast cars in general, regardless of who pays for the study, tend to increase testosterone levels.
So it seems clear to me that you have now been driving your Corvette long enough that your testosterone level has increased, impressing both your car and possibly your wife, plus making your hearing more sensitive.

I wasn't kidding. I've had them. Loudness can be objectively measured, but not fullness and angriness. An exhaust leak could actually cause loss of performance and/or mileage and also may be damaging something and possibly poisoning you with CO.
Your car doesn't have enough miles for the mufflers to have rusted out, so a leak is a likely explanation if it really is getting louder.
