SCCA Track Night in America at Carolina Motorsports Park May 26, 2016. 2015 Z51 A8 with Z06 transmission cooler up front. Outside temperature 90 degrees. Running in full auto mode and Sport 2. Second run session, second lap was the indicated best lap until I noticed that right at the start/finish line the referee gave me 2 seconds I did not earn. If the lap is too good to be true, then it probably is a false reading. The good news is that even at 90 degrees outside the max trans temp was 243. The max water temp was 237. The max oil temp was 293...a little high but probably ok. The DEI cat shield that I added may have helped keep the oil temp from going higher.
