40K sales per year - where are they all hiding?
I'm on the California East Bay highways and side streets over 10 hours a week. Now last Friday coming into Memorial Day weekend, I saw two others - one Black, and one White C7 Z51.
In the past 6 months, I can count on half a hand the number of Z06's I've seen on the road, and on both hands the number of C7's I've seen on the road.
What's the deal? Are people just just tucking them in the garages with covers on? Do people in the East Bay just not own them?

We don't see many C7s on the road.
Before ordering the Velocity Yellow C7, we saw them everywhere--and they were VY!

I was visiting Dubai/Abu Dhabi and aside from all the "hyper cars" I think I saw about 10 C7's over the last 2 weeks.
Red/White mainly.

They are as thick as nats around me. Seriously, there are 4 others within a 1/4 mile of my home.

SW Florida. They are everywhere now.
We always jokingly referred to SW Florida as "Land of the White Lexus", now I'd say "Land of the C7 Corvette".

Two weeks ago I had my first instance where I gave the waive to another C7. I've seen plenty of C4, C5 and C6s, while driving the C7, but that was the first C7.
Occasionally I'll see a C7 when I'm not driving mine, but it's not that often.

Depends in part where you live, I think.
A lot of people on the east/west coasts are unaware great cars are made by manufacturers other than BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.

It's a Northern California thing. People here HATE v8s, hate American cars. Only place in the country where you'll see more Teslas than c7s. More 911 turbos than z06s. There's 6 M4s on my street alone.
BTW, I effin hate it here. I've made peace with liberals and have some friends who are total hippies. But I can't reconcile the obscene wealth with the progressive politics.

I've made a similar observations to my son.
I'm just about 64 and remember back when I first started driving folks bought their Corvettes to be used as daily drivers. That is how I used my C3 back in the day.
It seems to me I see less and less folks using their cars as daily drivers.
Most C7's I see are folks older than me at weekend car cruises.
Of course it is only a couple of months until Corvettes at Carlisle.....then they will be like ants at a picnic..

Dont see many C7s here in metro Philly... and we are only an hour or so from Kerbeck...so real easy to pick one up... Just upgraded to a 16 ZO6 from a 14 stingray .. my sales guy at Kerbeck said they send most of their cars to FL TX and CA.... fine by me... the WOW factor on mine is always off the charts .. the thumbs up and people taking pictures add to the fun....

We just got back home from a 2,500 mile road trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota. We had six cars in our group of which one was a C7. We saw eight or nine other Corvettes on the trip, of which three were C7's.
This is a non Corvette that we saw while riding the 1880 train.

I can't help but think of how many people truly do not know what this car is capable of or the enjoyment of truly driving one. Winding roads and great scenery, it's what these cars were made for.
