This is the one thing that I was disappointed about with the GS. They don't offer the dark grey interior. I would absolutely love to have the dark grey interior on my GS. Oh well. Maybe GM will make available next year. ☹️
Car looks amazing in low light conditions. Picked it up last night and have not seen it in the full sun yet. I had mixed emotions at first as far as liking the color, but in the 14 hours or so of owning it, I think I am starting to like it more so than the shark skin gray I had. Wish I could have one of each though.

I was like you and came very close to getting a 2016 Shark Gray but took a chance ordering a 2017 WGG - after seeing your photos and comments, I'm glad I order the 2017 - Awesome car! Congrats!

Of course I bought it from Boardwalk! Big Timbo and the guys there really know their Corvettes! I wouldn't buy it from some other place, that starts with Mo... ;-)

It is a good looking ride! Sort of like mine, but on the other coast! (I have a 3LT A8 with red interior) Love my A8 -- shifts faster than I did in my C6 Z06! After running a GS A8 at Ron Fellows' place at Spring Mountain in Las Vegas, I am convinced I did the right thing with the A8. Looks great as well! I had the Esoteric folks up in Ohio detail it with a single stage paint fix, SunTek on the rock points and a light SunTek window tint. Really stoked over the car! Congratulations on yours! Great taste in automobiles!

Thanks! I think it's safe to say we both have awesome Vettes! The A8 seems great, and the automatic is definitely the wave of the future. At Boardwalk and another large local Corvette dealer, they stock automatics over manuals probably 4 to 1. I actually haven't driven an A8, so I can't comment on shift speed. But when I'm driving a sports car, I love the control of shifting, and the way it makes driving it feel for me. I'm definitely old school, even though I hope I'm not that old!
