I am not doing any modification to the engine or engine bay since I never lift the hood with the exception to wipe it down.
It's a standard issue C7 w/NPP w/MRC w/Chrome Rims
I've added:
What would you spend the $500 on?

Lloyd's carpeted cargo mat and indoor car cover with roughly $200 left for some gas and a speeding ticket.

2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Hi Dave....
I'd blow the $500 on my wife
Second choice would be XPel Ultimate the front bumper.
I too have the NoviStretch bra, and use it for when we take a trip. Here at our lake home in SW VA and just noticed the first small chip in the front bumper that wasn't there when we left Gettysburg (with the bra on) the other day

Double X, I've got the perfect idea. Blow it on a gift card for me. I need some side skirts.

Five hundred, huh? Regretfully, that won't buy much today. Not to show my age, DBLXX but I can remember when $500 would have bought you a new set of wheels. Now it wouldn't buy one. With that in mind I guess I would spend it on a window tint and a couple tanks of gas.

XPEL Ultimate, but that would also require another $1500 for a full nose, hood, fender, mirror, behind wheels, and rocker wrap. In fact, my car's going in for just that in a couple of weeks. I love black cars, but I hate dealing w/ the visible and inevitable swirl marks, not to mention rock chips on any color. This treatment will pretty much eliminate that.
