^^Why must you post negative and sarcastic comments in every Grand Sport thread? Please don't continue to pi** in our Wheaties.
If you prefer your model C7 please stick to those threads or if you must post in the Grand Sport threads please be respectful.

I am confused. If the grandsport is out why is there no build allowed on chevy.com All I am seeing is the 2016's. Maybe I am missing something?

That particular Grand Sport is a pre-production show car. Actual production started Friday and now we're headed into a two week plant shut down with production picking back up on July 11. That said, the online build your own site is usually behind the start of the new model year, but should change over soon.

Thanks for the pictures! The Admiral Blue is very close to my order with the exception of the white racing stripe and Z07 package. Hope the manuals come off of constraint by the time production resumes.

Fact is everyone is entitled to their opinion. And, IMHO, while I think the GS is nothing more than GM's s attempt to boost sales, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, one thing they did do was to eliminate the Z51 option on the base Vette and incorporate most of those into the GS which is different than what they did with the C6 which was nothing more than a wide body. If I had to buy my Vert NOW, I would probably get the GS only because of the added MECHANICAL features it has, not the wide body.

Funny but I find all the negative comments on some of these threads amusing. Everybody has an opinion on most subjects. Anyway here's another picture to stoke the flames!

That white stinger stripe with that color combo looks terrible. Then throw in red fender stripes to add to the mess. The GS looks good but this is a poor example.
