Serious-Sirius/XM: Warning!
Just wanted to give a heads up to any of you who have purchased a SiriusXM subscription from this ebay seller. The 1-year subscription I purchased from him at the end of April stopped working two weeks ago.
After sending him numerous emails with no response, I contacted ebay. They also emailed him, and he has not responded. Ebay also provided me with the sellers phone number. When I called him, the phone was answered and immediately hung up. Subsequent calls have gone straight to voicemail.
Serious-sirius has a very good feedback rating on ebay. And, I know many of you have purchased from him in the past, with great success. But it seems like something has changed.
At this point, my only recourse is to open a claim with Paypal. I have done so, and the seller has 10 days to respond.

Hmmm - I renewed mine a few weeks ago. The following day, I received a sale cancelation and refund from him and he stated:
All his fleabay listings also disappeared.
A couple of weeks later, another listing appeared from him and I bit. Next day, the radio was activated as expected.
So far, it remains active. Sounds like he is having personal problems?
Hello, I have cancelled the order because I am unable to deliver in the promised time. I am a little backed up, but will contact you when I'm ready again. thanks for understanding.

Too bad. It was great having a cost effective alternative to buying directly from SiriusXM.

I'm wondering how anyone thought this could be from a legitimate provider. This individual could end up spending time as a "guest" of the Fed Gov in one their fine facilities.

I'm curious about what he's charging for a 1-year subscription. I've always been able to negotiate to around $80 / year by talking directly with SiriusXM. Is this guy giving such a great deal that he's worth bothering with?

My 1 yr trial is about to expire and I just received a 6 month offer for $30 from Sirius. This is the best deal I have found direct from Sirius.

Just wanted to point out that there are two different packages available (NavTraffic aside) Select, and All Access.

Nice to see I'm not the only one. Actually in another thread there were a couple other people having issues with this Ebayer too. I think that makes the CF tally 4 or so right now not digging this guy.
I bought twice from the dude and both were failed for different reasons. The second subscription I bought through was under a different name, but the whole vibe was it was the same guy as serious serius. I think they can only have so many listings in a period of time and run out, so they create other accounts to keep going.

I am laughing at this thread because i seen this from a mile away with another who mentioned him in another sirius post.I will re-iterate, He was probably bootlegging it or hotboxing it like they did with them cable boxes back in the day. I also remember when you could purchase a card for your satelite that would unlock all the channels and you had to remove it every so often so they couldnt send a signal to destroy the card. My grandparents always seemed to know someone at the cable company. You were getting a steal with this deal and so was he LOLOL
OP you might get hosed on this one, i hope you don't

I renewed with him in January 1 year no issues to date. I believe he is selling 1 years subscriptions but registering them as demo/trial since I couldn't log it to my profile. No other issues.
Glad to see the post as of July 5th I have 2 accounts to renew.

I'm guessing serious-Sirius gets ahold of "free subscriptions" that come with a new automobile purchase, but perhaps are not fully utilized based on accidents that result in the car being totaled and have residual Sirius/XM subcription that is partially used. That explains the subcription expiring at less than advertised length. Bottom line is you take your chances on what time is really left on the trial he is reselling
