MID-SUMMER EVENT UPDATE


• Wilson Niblett Performance Display at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
• Club Corvette CT Car Show and Swap Meet
• Black Hills Corvette Classic

Old Lyme, Connecticut - July 8, 2016. Callaway staff is traveling cross-country this month, spotlighting the new Callaway Z06 SC757 at several Corvette enthusiast events.


July 8-10, 2016
Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park - Clarington ON, Canada

This weekend, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (previously called Mosport) hosts Canada's biggest sports car race of the year: the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix. Corvette Racing's North American spec Corvette C7.R's will be competing in full force, in WeatherTech Championship's IMSA-sanctioned GTLM class.
Authorized Callaway Dealer, Wilson Niblett Performance of Richmond Hill, Ontario, will have Callaway Corvette road cars on display at the Corvette Racing Corral. Be sure to visit with Performance Director and Callaway Specialist Brian Hay to check out all the latest Callaway Corvette features.

July 10, 2016
Club Corvette CT Car Show and Swap Meet
Moroso Performance Products - Guilford CT

Join us this Sunday at the 24th Annual Club Corvette CT Car Show and Swap Meet, held at Moroso Performance Products on Carter Drive, Guilford CT. (Rain Date is the following Sunday, July 17.) Callaway staff will attend with a new Callaway Z06 SC757; they'll be there to let you know all about its features.
Our local Authorized Callaway Dealer, McDermott Chevrolet of East Haven CT, will also have representatives on hand to let you know how to put a new Callaway in your garage, including info on warranty and financing. Plus, Celebrity Judge, Gil Simmons, WTNH Channel 8 Meteorologist will be there, selecting Best-of-the-Best in Show.

July 13-16, 2016
Black Hills Corvette Classic
Sioux Falls to Spearfish, SD

Callaway staff will also travel to South Dakota to support our Callaway Authorized Dealer, Harchelroad Motors with outlets in Imperial and Wauneta, Nebraska. They will be displaying a new Callaway Z06 SC757: a powerfully engineered, aesthetically superior package with 757 streetable horsepower and 777 asphalt-shredding lb-ft of torque.
Callaway and Harchelroad representatives will be available to address all of your questions and to get you the Callaway Corvette, Camaro or SportTruck that you want. Car shows, autocross and drag races, caravans and poker runs, guided tours, seminars, and much more are scheduled at this "world-class experience".

July 17-22, 2016
NCCC Convention - 2016
Omaha NE

Later this month, Callaway representatives will be attending the National Council of Corvette Clubs' (NCCC) Convention in Omaha, Nebraska displaying a Callaway Z06 SC757. Convention Director, Gene Gau says: "From the six tour sites we have planned, to the parties, valve cover races, high speed and low speed events, car show and rallye, there's something for everyone."

August 25-28, 2016
Corvettes at Carlisle
Carlisle PA

The Callaway Team will display several Callaway cars and products at "the largest and most fun-filled Corvette event in the world": Corvettes at Carlisle. Held in late August at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, Callaway's tent will be located in Row IF on the Manufacturers Midway, in the same location as last year - right beside the Corvette Engineers Tent.
The Callaway Owners Group will be represented with their own section of the Fun Field. Register here to park and show your Callaway Corvette with other Callaway owners. On Friday night, Callaway Cars Inc. and the Callaway Owners Group will support the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation at the organization's CMAF Dinner. It sure was a lot of fun last year . . . and we expect it to grow even more this year! Register online to attend the CMAF Dinner here.

Aside from the beauty of the look, with our muscular supercharger through-hood, we don't have to paint match a new hood.

Also, and most important, there is a large benefit from the convective heat transfer of airflow over the top of the supercharger, keeping things cool.

Nothing black sticking out of the top of my hood sitting at a stop light is going to stay cool in weather like this, Chris.

I have an ECS kit and totally happy with it but I think the Callaway blower through the hood looks awesome.

I love mine. It's kinda like a shaker hood that I see moving around when I change gears, accelerate, etc. but to each his own.
