Thanks... I wasn't sure I'd like them, but since putting them on it transformed the look of the car. I also recently added the front "poverty" splitter too. I think I'm done with modifications for awhile, but may still consider tinting the side markers.

"Kind of needed it"... Vettes should ALWAYS have it!!! Not complete if it don't have it!!!

Have always done 20% sides and 5% rear..

Why darker in the rear? I was actually going to go lighter in the rear as it's hard to see at night with the back window dark.

I like the looks of the darker tint, but it is also functional. I've never had an issue with the darker tint during night time driving.

Living in AZ, I put 5% on my coupes to reduce the heat/UV coming thru those monster rear windows.

For my convertibles, it also helps but obviously to a lesser degree due to the smaller rear window.

Have considered tinting the front windshield but never have, so any time the car is parked outside, there is a insulated front windshield screen in place that helps keep the heat/UV's out, and the steering wheel cool enough to be able to put my hands on...

Really a personal preference, so what ever one is comfortable with re: darkness and visibility.

Your car looks GREAT the way it is!

I see...well here in Western PA we get about 5 days of sunshine a year, so the tint is much more for "the look" than any real need of interior heat/uv protection. I definitely have a bit of difficulty seeing as well at night when approaching on-ramps etc... but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Thanks for the compliments!

Damn I miss by Black C6Z. Your car looks perfect, I wouldn't change a thing (except extra HP)
