Default C7 road trip to NCM,

Last minute decision to take my 14 yr old son for a weekend road trip. Booked factory tour for Friday, and a couple of hot laps at the track. Museum Saturday then home. Anyone else from C7CF in BG this weekend? Plus, I need a new Corvette tshirt and this seemed like a good idea...

That sounds like a lot of fun! Enjoy!

Too long of a drive for me to do that, particularly on the spur of the moment, but maybe one day...

At the factory stop in and buy a souvenir at the store. It helps support the factory workers. It's staffed by retired employees.

Great bonding time with your son and a fun trip to boot. Be safe out on the roads.

Did the same trip a couple weeks ago from Savannah. Factory tour as well...the kid would love the factory if you can get a reservation slot and they are open. Hot laps and touring laps are absolutely fun.
Enjoy

Look up Spongie Acres if you ever want to stay at a really nice bed and breakfast. Wife and I went up there spring before last and had a great time.

We went last September. Awesome experience. Add another day to your trip and go to Mammoth Cave.

Staying at Hotel Sync right between the plant and the museum. Great location and great room. The room is the size of an apartment, full kitchen included! The speedway was fun, factory tour was great. Met some great people. Hitting the museum tomorrow then home. Wanted to get this photo when we did our museum delivery a while back, but didn't have time. Great day! If you love Corvettes you have to make this trip!

Interesting info from the plant tour. No Z06s in production now, but a lot of grand sports on the line! And Admiral Blue looks great!
