iPod 120gb w/ about 8k tracks; I'm GTG
I have grown to like the painted calipers on my 7 to consider adding them on my C5
Mine also came with painted machine faced wheels.
Thanks to another CF member, I now have the chromes I would have ordered

these threads.
You'll be wading through the manure in no time here with a thread like this.
My opinion, contrary to my wife's assertions, is, embarrassingly enough, crazy brilliant and almost always spot on. It is tough at times to be right so often, and my taste is amazing. People use me as references when writing reports.
Here's my opinion to add to the manure pile:
- 2LT is a terrific value. 3LT is not.
- Z51 is worthless if you live in the flatlands. I live in California, so it was mandatory.
that's it dude.
- Oh, spending more for chrome is like paying money to hold a diaper. Some people, spiting out their tobacco, will pull their .40 out of the their dash compartment and shoot me dead for such a statement. Spending a little more for black or machined face is a nice touch. To me, nothing screams "cheap bastard" more than the default aluminum wheels.
- I did get dual roof and I love it. I have see through, and my colored roof. I call them my summer and winter roofs.
- the carbon dash is a total rip off at 1000 bucks and worth every penny
If anything, this is a sports car. It's for celebrating hard work. Don't be a cheap SOB. Do what you can for yourself. If you're trying to shave 600 bucks off the price, you're buying the wrong car.
With that being said, I do wish I got 3LT...
BTW, the m7 has no upcharge. You get throttle response, auto fuel management at your discretion and trouble free ownership.

Guys, first of all, you have 5 minutes to either alter or add to any post you make. You don't have to make 2 or 3 posts should you decide to alter or add to anything.
Then, please give the Multi-Quote button a try too. This is the middle icon in the lower right hand corner of each post in any thread. When you click on that button/icon, it allows you to reply to multiple people in a single reply post (see Post #10).
Both of these things will make your life so much easier here on CorvetteForum.

Get a loaded Z06. M7. You then won't be second guessing yourself 6 months later. Most regret not getting it as time goes by. Even though they won't admit it.

Bought mine used, a Blade Silver 2016 3LT A8. Must haves for me was a 2 tone interior, chrome wheels, the ft/rear cameras, HUD and most of all an automatic, though I was concerned about the A8. So far the A8 has performed flawlessly. Have come to enjoy the heated and cooled seats and the NPP. Only thing I'd like to add are red brake calipers and perhaps a solid color top.
I suppose it boils down mostly to what you can afford and how you intend to use the vehicle. I'm retired and was mostly looking for a highway cruiser, so had no particular interest in a Z51 with larger wheels, dry sump oil system or full width spoiler. Really couldn't tell much difference in the MRC. As they say, whatever floats your boat, or in my case, turns your prop. Good luck with whatever you decide. The C7 is a terrific vehicle and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

IMHO the one single must have option is NPP. It is a stand alone option that you can get without Z51 pkg. Get it for the looks even if you have no interest in the sound. Non NPP exhaust pipes seem puny in comparison to the big shiny "trumpets" of NPP.

The only thing I did not get and wish I had was the Magnetic ride. I have '15 Z51 2LT with CF roof, Nav and all the package goodies that came with the Pacific Edition package. 1 of 97 made. <3

Might I suggest checking the vendor sites here, Crisswell, Kerbeck, McMulkin, etc. They all still have a great selection on '16's at great discounts. Good luck on your search. You'll love the C7 whatever you decide on.

Convertible is a must have for me. I don't keep my car for more than three years so I only get options that have value at trade in time. Base convertible, M7, 2LT, Navigation/PDR. As for performance exhaust (NPP), the standard version sounds good enough and I really don't like the look of the oversized exit horns.
