Same issue here, they tried the software update which reduced the frequency of the flickering and blanking but did not eliminated. Now I wait for a new screen, about two weeks so far and counting...

Had mine replaced twice, first replacement unit would not open or close, second unit works great. Easy fix.

Had my follow up visit to the dealer for the replacement screen. Has not had a glitch since, which is great. It was very annoying having the screen go out intermittently, especially when it went out while I was trying to back up! Glad they got it fixed.

Mine working perfectly now after waiting about 3 weeks for the new screen. The dealers vette tech indicated this was his 6th time replacing the screen on 14's. Took about an hour & a half.

My audio volume **** stopped working but I could adjust volume with the steering wheel controls. At the same time I noticed the radio station block was not highlighted, but I could change channels with steering wheel controls or by touch..

Got home turned car off, unpacked, restarted it to pull into garage, volume **** is working & stations are highlighted again.

Just a glitch, or the beginning of the end? haha...

Sounds more like a glitch. Things like that occasionally happen with mine, but usually only after my iPhone's been plugged in (CarPlay) while the factory GPS is on and I've opened the hatch to unload/load stuff. Now, before I shut down the car, I make sure I cancel the Nav and give time for my phone to reconnect via Bluetooth after disconnecting, and it hasn't happened again (yet).

But if the screen flickers, it's probably the beginning of the end!

No flickering, but of note, it did happen while Navigation was on.

hello all,
my 2017 screen is damaged, now i am not in the same shoes as everyone in this thread, but the dealer did say the part is backorder and it has been 1 week time so far. I am wondering if I purchase a 2016 screen online will it work ? if not how long am i looking at for this backorder part?

Relax! Should arrive soon. My screen was replaced a few months ago under warranty, & guess about 5 weeks to arrive at the dealership. Now, all is well!

My 2014 was built 2/19/14, VIN 16xxx, about in the middle of the run. No trouble with the screen to this point. But, I am officially on my own as of tomorrow! Took delivery 3 years ago today! Here's hoping . . .

Welcome to the wonderful world of GM Electronics....never had a GM radio that I did not have issues with...constantly, rarely when you are there at service !! I bite my tongue and hope they don't last cuz I ain't bringing my baby back to that Horror shop
