Gray convertible top
Thinking about new GS with Black Rose, gray interior and gray top.
Anyone have a picture of gray convertible top on any color?
On GM site the black and gray top look same?

That looks pretty good with the blue body color.

One caveat regarding a non-black convertible top. If you actually use the convertible top as in many up and down cycles...the lighter color tops will show "rub marks" which are dark creases that are impossible to remove making the top look dingy after a while. Black tops also get these marks but since the marks are dark and the top is black they don't show nearly as much as on they gray/tan/kalahari tops. My 2007 vert had a gray top and my 2016 has the black top.

"direct" is correct. I had a very similar color gray top (to the current gray) and it does show. Some have used magic eraser, left RaggTop on for ten or more minutes, used 303 Aero, but I'm not sure anything really works to get either the black-ish marks, or the lighter-colored rub marks off the top. I'd guess you can use more damaging removers but that would definitely shorten the lifespan and the mfr. doesn't recommend them. Much as I liked the lighter colors, I think next time I'll go with the black top, too.

The gray looks nice but I prefer Black.

Definitely black if you actually use your car. I am on my third summer with my 2014 convertible that I cycle many times. No wear marks or creases, I just love the C7's totally power top!

Sadly, Larry is right. If you are going to really use to top, black is going to look better through the years. I had a light oak top on my 1998, after a year, it looked HORRIBLE. I was very good about NOT putting the top down when it was dirty, etc, but it still got all those dark chafe marks where the top piles on top of itself when down. Never again.

Has anyone had their tops ceramic coated? I had my top done but I have a black top so probably not going to show the dark lines. Just wonder for those with different color tops if that would help protect from getting dark lines.

At least half the people I know with verts never put the top down, anyway. So, gray would work fine for them.
