Mobile1 rebate is back Aug. 1 to Oct. 31
$12 rebate with purchase of five quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. (Limit 2 per person).

Even though I have six five quart jugs and three Mobil1 filters in my basement, I had better stop by Walmart in the next month or two and get another two jugs, as I just might outlive my current supply. Current Walmart price is $22.88 for Mobil1 5W30 and 0W40.
Can't beat the price per jug after buying at Walmart and then getting the rebate. I've been getting the rebate for several years and Mobil mails the check pretty darn quick, without any hassles(unlike some companies).

Are you sure about this? Have you purchased at both sites and know for a fact? These retailers are NOT on the Mobil 1 website. I'm just skeptical about a lot of stuff I see posted on the web.

Call Mobile1 at 1-866-895-9127 and verify for yourself if you like. Then post back back what you find.
To save you the trouble of having to make a phone call, I called for you. Both Amazon and Walmart are participating in this rebate (like I stated in the original post).

The list says it is SOME of the participating dealers. It is not inclusive.

Mobil1 will give the rebate for purchases made at Walmart. They have for me for the past three years.

Last time they had this rebate I called them and they said they would issue rebates from Amazon if I included the packing slip. Well Amazon did NOT include a packing slip for that shipment, so I included the invoice from Amazon, the top and the box from the oil filter and they refused the rebate from amazon.
They did accept the receipt from Walmart however

Interesting info, I sent in a rebate request, with Walmart receipt and never received a rebate!
