I buy what I like with no concern about resale value.

I agree. I'm not buying my Corvette for the next buyer. Whatever difference I "lose" I will make up with enjoyment of driving a Corvette that I bought for me.

Gold hasn't looked good on most cars for the past 15 years.

I've noticed black cars are always the cheapest in used car markets. Probably because it's very easy to see dings and scratches.

I got decent money for my last black car. I know a lot of people like black sports cars so I guess it's a weird toss up.

That's good because mine isn't for sale anyway. I love the color especially in the sun. Haven't seen another around the area and still get tons of compliments. Everybody has a red, black or grey one.

Trade-in price has many variables and the color is way down the scale, condition would affect trade price a lot more. A private sale; color will make a difference, desirable color combinations will sell faster and command a slightly higher price.

Yellow. Because if a guy comes looking to buy your yellow car, you know he REALLY wants it

I don't care about the colors that are good for resale as I buy what I want. It is nice to know that white is at the top of the charts, so I will only get hit with average deprecation.

Resale? Depreciation is impossible to beat. IF you can afford the car in the first place just buy what rings your bell. For me that is black with a red interior. White? never.

I love the C7 in White but my previous car was White so I decided to switch it up.

You're asking the wrong question, pal. The right question is ... What color do YOU like?
You're the one paying for it. You're the one driving it. What is the point in even having the car if it's not what YOU like? Check your local ju co for this course: Life 101.

I am just not buying this Orange and Yellow thing. I have always heard of Resale Red, I think Black is the best looking. But I am basically a Blue Corvette person. I currently drive White. Did I cover about all the bases ???
