Thought I was something, drove it for 20,000 miles, sold for $1000 more than I paid for it.
Then bought a bone stock 68 convertible Road Runner, and did about the same thing. Between the two cars, I racked up too many points on my license, and had it suspended for a month.
Sold the convertible, to keep temptation at bay, bought a good work truck, got my contractors license, and started my business.
It was 10 years before I bought a go fast again.

I had a 1969 vert that I converted to a by-the-numbers 1969 LT-1. The LT-1 was supposed to be introduced in 1969. The Shop Manuals had all the information to support that model with all the specs and I obtained a parts manual that listed all the 1969 Special High Performance parts for the 350 block (they are NOT the same as the 1970 LT-1 that was built). As we all know, the 1969 LT-1 is the car that never was. While I have some pics of the car, none have been converted to digital. I'll have to fix that. It took me 2 years to find the correct numbered carburetor. It was a fun car at a fun time. I wouldn't trade my C7 for it thought.

WOW the Superbird is a real gem, not many around, also the RR Conv is a pretty rare one too. When I was a kid in Detroit I lived near the east-side Chrysler Main Assy. We used to go down to the back storage area to admire the new Chrysler's every fall when they started building them. I remember when the first Superbirds were out in the shipping area and everybody was asking "what the heck is that thing?" Wish I owned a hemi one now!! megabucks!!

Some beautiful cars in this thread. I jealous of your having owned them in the first place and feel you pain on having sold them. Thanks for posting.

Like many here I have had a bunch on neat cars over the years, wish I had all of them back, would make great stable mates for my C7. Unfortunately my ex wife didn't care for the pictures of them and through them away. the 3 i miss the most are a 1966 Mustang vert with the 289/271 HiPo engine, a 1967 Cobra 427 side oiler and a 1969 Z28 dual carb car. Wish I had them now, I could be rich.
