I had a 15 C7 base convertible with automatic and performance exhaust. Great car, ride like a Buick. I now have a 15 Z51 coupe with automatic and no magnetic ride control, rides more like a skateboard but I track it every month.

Buick makes a sports car that rides like a Stingray?

A quick question while reading this thread:

Which would be more fun:

A Z51 with no mag ride,

or a non Z51 with mag ride?

And why do you say that?

I was going to go with a Z51 3LT, but actually went with a 3LT with the mag ride, it has the larger wheels, the black aluminum, red calipers, black spoiler and mirrors, performance exhaust, car itself was 1k more than the Z51 3LT but plain drove better. The vette with the mag ride was the best out of the six vettes I drove. It was so good, I bought it even though I don't buy red cars!!

How I bought the car- dealer gave me the keys, I drove it about four miles, got back to the dealer and was like, "wrap it up, I'll take it."

(This is for a M7)

The Z51 mag ride on a sport setting is going to be what Z51 is at all the time. So they are going to be equal amount of fun in that regard. But the Mag ride can go soft when you dont want the rougher ride.

Mag ride is probably a really nice option for the Z51. I personally own a non mag ride Z51 because i just dont give me a dam.
