Grand Sport Buyer's Beware! It's a "Fake Z06!"
This video cracked me up. I say buy what you want. Having owned two C7 Stingrays (M7 and A8) and having put 800 miles on a friend's Z06, the Grand Sport gives me what I want from both cars and what I didn't want from the Z06. I'm going to love my "Fake Z06!"

I'm a Z06 owner, I think the GS is a great model. Glad it's coming back.
Most of the folks trying to pee in the GS cornflakes are Z06 owners with their feelings hurt there is a vette that looks similar to theirs, or Stingray owners who deep down would like a widebody vette.
Both types are just insecure. All three of these models are great sports cars and each serves a particular niche.
Get what you want - enjoy what you have.

Well,I own a 2017 Grand Sport and I do think that it is a great car. Great piece of work by GM/Chevrolet.

I have looked at several of his videos and he is such a douche bag. What is he going to do when he sees a ZR-1 on the road in his second banana ZR-1 look alike in the future?

If you buy a Grand Sport, don't you feel in some ways that it's just a fake Z06, I mean in some ways, isn't that sort of what it is? I mean it looks like a Z06 but it's not, it's supposed to look like that. As a Z06 buyer, I'm not this type of person, I really don't care, I don't feel like the Grand Sport is stepping on my toes or whatever. But I'm sure a lot of owners do feel that way.

I met him at the GM Nats in Carlisle this sunmer. In person he just seems like a nice kid (albiet a little it smart assed with the means to buy cool cars and have fun with them. I enjoyed the one where he and his buddy bought out Chick fil A and gave it to the kids. His videos are kinda entertaining. He doesn't take himself too seriously, so no one else should either.

Interesting video especially when he edits in the Corvette on the 2 different race tracks.
The tracks are edited in. Not his car. The track edited in at 2:02 to 2:16 is ArroyoSeco Raceway located off Interstate I-10 in Deming, NM which was my own home track when racing formula cars. He is heading down the main straight which is part of a road course and main drag strip.
The other track, I do not know. Not sure how he got the video from ArroyoSeco Raceway, but certainly is dubbed into his video.
