She may read the CForums/member here, since she bought from a CF Dealer Sponsor - Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, MI.
A beautiful C7 she bought!

Wouldn't it be cool if someone could contact her and ask her to tell her story on the forum? Not to violate privacy or anything, but maybe through the dealer. After all, when she was born, 1918? many people did not have refrigeration, much less cars.

Ageism (also spelled "agism") is stereotyping and discriminating against individuals or groups on the basis of their age. This may be casual or systematic. The term was coined in 1969 by Robert Neil Butler to describe discrimination against seniors, and patterned on sexism and racism.
I might also point out, in Michigan, you can still drive legally with just one good eye....I was shocked to find this out when I had retinal surgery last year, but it's the law here. When you are out and about some day, try driving with one eye closed....
Studies have shown people will eventually take themselves off the road on their own; I'm sure we all have relatives who have gone through this situation.
