Performance Brake Ducts
So I'm specing out a new C7 to replace the '16 which will go to my son this coming spring. What the heck is the Performance Brake Duct option ? I sure don't remember it from last year ......... Car will never see the track. I do however spend 4 to 5 weeks a year canyon carving in the western states. Will having these really help or is the option geared toward the weekend track rat ?

I think it's the ducts that come on the z51 and z06 they're just making it available as a separate option now.

It's the ducts that go from the front grille to the front brakes. They were only on the z51 stingray, now you can add them to a non-z51 stingray. Coupe or convertible, makes no difference.

That makes sense. Wonder if it includes the Z06 grill ? If it does, I'm in.

Melting Slicks
I doubt that it will include the Z06 grille just because the ducts will work with the stock grill. How much is the option and does it include the Z51 rear ducts? Comes with Base Pads or Z51 brake pads?
Ether way, you will never know the difference street driving.

I'm sure it is just the brake ducts (probably only fronts), MSRP of the Accessory is $275.

That's kind of what I figured. Guess I'll live without it.

The option is also available if you order Z51 which implies it is actually something else that doesn't already come with it... That said I was wondering exactly what it was myself.

I've decided to do without it ......... I'd sooner put the money towards the C F dash inlay. At least that will give me a visual Ohhhh Ahhhhh ..............

I had wondered what the duct option was myself when building my Grand Sport. Luckily we still get the Z06 grill regardless.
