just got my order confirmation from the dealer for a Grand Sport, non Z07, manual transmission, red brake calipers so it seems like some of the constraints have been lifted or I just got lucky either way I seem to be good to go

"order confirmation". What does that mean? Is your order at event code 2000 or above?

Don't know the order code yet but for the last 2 weeks the dealer has not even been able to place the order due to the constraints but today they let me know the order has been placed and gave me a order number

I have asked for the status on another forum and will update when I get more data but it seems like a start

Don't want to burst your bubble, but an order number means nothing. Until you get to 2000, you don't have squat. An order will sit at 1100 until the dealer is able to assign it to an allocation that allows all options on the order. Once you hit 2000, constraints are no longer an issue and your order will quickly progress from there.

Your dealer can tell you your order event code at anytime. Make them earn your money.
