Default Just bought my C7 a buddy

About an hour ago, I bought this 1971 C3. It was originally Elkhart green. For now, it will stay black. The best features are 4 speed, power windows and AC. Unfortunately, no power steering, but it was OK on the test drive.

Looks good.

Here's my 70 alongside my 16.

Bridgehampton blue with bright blue interior
350/350hp 4 speed, power steering
Wish it had AC.

Looks great! My first Vette, a 1969, had no power steering. Except when parking, I never missed it. It looks good black. I'd leave it until it really needs a paint job. AC is a really nice option on a chrome bumper car. Good find.

I plan to also pick up a C3 eventually to go with my C7 vert. The C3 is to me, the most classic and recognizable of all Corvette shapes. Good luck with yours...

Awesome!!

One of the best years too. I love the C3's up until they got rid of the chrome fronts.

I like the C3 body style. Easy to recognize as a Corvette. Your new one looks good in black. Like a bunch of others I had a new 1968 vert with a 4 speed and A/C, 300 hp, 327 block. Still miss the look but not the comfort....

Exactly my thoughts then and now! They still had some massive power those years.

Lot of years between these two cars but their relationship in style and lines is easy to see. C3 may have been ahead of it's time. Beautiful.

Nice car. I have had two C3's. A 69 & 71. By far my favorite of any year corvette. Love the technology of the C7 but there is just something about those years that gets the heart pumping.
