How much spray paint for rockers?
Hi,
How much spray paint do you think I will need to paint the acs zero7 rockers? I'm going to order them in primer and paint them myself, it will give me something to do over the weekend and save me a little money. I've found a can of carbon flash online and don't want to order 2 of if I don't have to. Net weight of can is 12oz.
Thank you.

I would get two cans. Personally, I would skip the primer. It just shows through when your skirts start getting beat up. Your call on that one though.

NAPA can help with your paint needs. You can buy one pint of single stage enamel Carbon Flash. You will need Reducer, one quart, and the smallest can of hardener. Air compressor and a small paint gun, and a calm day are all you need.

My side skirts came to me shipped pre-primed for painting.
I still used an Adhesion Promoter before spraying the color paint and the clear coat. The Adhesion Promoter drys clear.
The results were excellent. I suggest 2 cans of color spray paint and use even strokes when spraying. I also suggest buying a spray can trigger to control the can better. Cost is about $4.00. Start at one end and continue with the spray to the other end. Do not stop spraying in the middle of the side skirts, complete strokes from one side to the other is the key to great results.
Be patient with the painting. I took 4 days to complete by DIY spray painting, providing ample time for each coat to dry properly.
