Is your Vette your Daily Driver?

yes, all year around except for the really bad winter days then the Exploder gets the nod.
Coming up to 50,000 kms (31,000 miles) and nary a squeak almost 3 years later (Dec 20).

I'm assuming you meant Explorer 'monk, because if you have a car called the Exploder, I want one.

I drove Vettes as daily drivers for 26 years - amassing more than 600,000 miles in Corvettes....
Today, I split the DD duties between the C7 and a 28-year-old Ferrari

YES, DD.
6 months up here in the North country then 6 months in Florida.
No, I don't ship it, I drive it through the mountain route going to FL.
2015 C7, 24000 miles, not saving it for the next owner.

By the definition (only car) I voted no. I live in the Northeast and driving a Vette is impractical with the weather we get up here. I drive my '14 predominantly during the spring, summer and fall seasons.
My winter ride works better in the snow and ice.

I drove my C6 for 4 years as a daily driver. Had to rent a car when it snowed / ice in the winter. After calculating the cost of car rentals, a set of tires every two years on the vette and excessive depreciation due to driving 22,000 miles a year, not to mention the inconvenience of not having a vehicle to take more than one person in and lug around stuff, I came to the conclusion it would cost me the same or less to have a 2nd car. I now drive the vette 12,000 miles a year and have the backup car.

I drive mine to work a couple times a week. We usually take my wife's BMW on trips as my Vette is a Vert and we need the trunk space. I know, I have read the posts about how much you can get into a convertible but it won't fit everything we need.

It is my wife's daily driver. She waited 30 years for this car, no way she would let it sit in the garage and not drive it. Fortunately we live where she can drive it year round.

Like most of you, I have other options (motorcycles, wife's AWD car, tow vehicle, and a SmartCar!). When the dealership was trying to sell me an extended warranty, I declined. He asked me how many miles I would drive the Corvette? I told him 10-15,000 miles a year. "Oh", he said, "most of our Corvette owners don't drive their cars that much in a year!" I told him it was a Chevrolet and made to be driven! That said, I did put 11,000 trouble free and entertaining miles on the C7 in its first year. It comes to work, goes on extended trips, gets groceries, does weekend drives, provides transportation for Saturday night dates, navigates occasional track sessions, but doesn't get driven in inclement winter weather or haul more than two people! One of the best cars I've owned!

Not my daily driver as I have 3 other cars plus my Vette, but since April I have put on more miles on the C7 than any other car I own. As long as I'm not taking more than one of my kids somewhere, rain, or a family outing, the Vette is the car of choice until winter comes. Like most on this forum I truly enjoy driving this car and cannot get enough of it. The way I see it is the more miles that I put on the car the more fun I've had.

It's our only 'car' (the other vehicle is a small SUV) so I guess my 'YES' is technically correct. Being retired means I don't drive it to work every day like I did my C5 when I was working, but the C7 sees about 95% of the driving. That includes grocery shopping. The SUV goes to the dump about once a week. Unfortunately it's the only thing in the garage right now (see my "Oops...' posts).

Yes and I bracket race every chance I get too. (Sadly not much this summer)
