Default Z06 front spat on the rear of a Z51

I have seen it on a z06 installed because a member had a wheel that had a wider offset then the z06 wheel and need the extra width. Im wondering if anyone installed the spats on the rear of a z51 to add clearence slace for the 12 inch wheel?

Can't say that I've seen that done yet nor would ever consider it. Heck the spats on the front fenders of a the Z06/GS is why I'm not a fan of the wide body.

While an overly exaggerated example, the front spats remind me of this:

Lionel21,

I know this is an older thread but were you saying it was easy peasy putting the spats on the front of the stingray or on the rear of the stingray? I put the spats on my stingray fronts and looking for someone that has modified the spats and placed on the rear of a stingray like this cray car in this picture, would that be you?

You do realize those spats will change the aerodynamics of the car don't you? If you aren't a track rat you'll be OK if you want them just for protection and looks.

Thanks! I would use for the protection and looks since I have the Carbon Fiber on my fronts, I want to add them to the backs.

That really doesn’t look too bad on the car.

Rear Scoops and Apr Carbon Fiber Spats retrofitted to the rear so I’ve replaced all the Carbon Flash to APR Carbon Fiber. The Rear Spats makes the Scoop blend in really well....
