Default Les Stanford out of state buying experence review

Flat out the best car buying experience I have ever had and I have had MANY. Nothing more to say really. Everything was done by Email Fedex and I think I talked to the salesman ONCE on the phone. Even the appraisal of my trade was done by photos and email. I did have one snag after delivery that I got into a bit with the salesman about the condition of the G/S on delivery but I'm not going to go into that here or let that tarnish the rest of the delivery experience. Do not hesitate to buy from Stanford it was as easy to buy a $71K car is it is to buy socks at Target.
And they have a ton of inventory. Don't pass them up if your looking for a new Corvette they are very fair.

Sounds like you are downplaying the fact that the condition of the car was problematic. I would rather of had a tougher time with the purchase and have the car arrive in perfect condition.

I look at it this way. If I had ordered the car or had an NCM delivery you also run the risk of finding an issue after you already own the car. Nothing is ever flawless so you move on.

Wish you'd had that attitude awhile ago, B&W//GrandC7, whatever....

I agree. I also had a car delivered from them and had three issues with the condition of the car that was delivered. I would not buy from them again.

Great to hear. Cannot say the same about Lindsay in Woodbridge, VA. Miserable experience and none of it the salesman fault. Management, if they can be called that, are incompetent at best and incapable of doing even the most basic customer service related tasks. I plan on providing a detailed description of my experience to other members here to at least provide a word of caution if you plan on giving them your business. My advice is to avoid them at all costs!

I would definitely use them again myself. My experience was just like yours (except for the delivery, I did the museum).

So, did they take your old car in on trade. If so, how did they treat you on trade? Did they just load it up and take it back on the same trailer your new one came on?

Can only relate my experience with Les Stanford from fall 2007....very positive, no issues, quick to give their best price without games. My delivery was at NCM as well....the only problem there...I had to drive it home in the pouring rain!

Team Player is no longer a member here. He recently bragged about having over 40 different forum user accounts and I'm guessing they may have banned his IP address. He posted pics on another thread of his 98 year old mother getting in his new GS at the dealership and said she was the world's oldest Corvette owner, so I'm assuming he drove his 2015 there and traded it in while picking up his 2017?

^^^ Never did find out whether the 98 yr old woman had a driver license. Funny. So Black & White's Mother bought him a new C7 @ Stanford. Now, it all fits. Except perhaps that Team Player's Mom was 49 when he was born, according to his Profile page.
