That dude is hard to listen to. And their reviews are silly.

Agreed. They usually apologize for the crappy 1/4 mile track they use with the weeds growing up between cracks in the asphalt and never offer any timed laps from Roebling Road, their supposed winter home track. And they dissolve into using the manufacturer's quotes like;
"Porsche says it's their fastest most capable 911 yet", followed by "and although we can't explore the limits on the street it certainly feels fast to us here at MotorWeek."
They are the National Enquirer of road car shows. Occasionally they get it right, but usually by accident.

There really aren't many good shows on the tube that are Sportscar focused.
99% are the same damn thing: restoring or modifying old muscle cars...there's a million of 'em.

Not heard of that one but, C/D, M/T, Automobile in print and head2head online with video would work. Nothing short of instrumented testing followed by a pro driver's lap time compared to other sports cars he's driven will work for me. Would love to see a base Z06 versus Callaway test on a road course. Only data point we have is the Mojave Mile car. A stock Z06 hit 188mph and the Callaway hit 202.5mph so it appears the car is making power. Would love to see if any of that would translate to a better track time on a road course. Similar to the GS guys wanting to run a Z06 in similar configuration.

Back when i was a young 'un, on Saturdays PBS had Motorweek & Last Chance Garage back to back. Loved it.
I watch Motorweek now for almost just nostalgic reasons as when i watch Retro clips on youtube, the current format seems to be a shell of former selves. Just watched cool clip of a '85 comparison between base auto 'vette vs a Z51 model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9FwU9iUmfo
Magazines: Glad the internet came about cuz I would never want to spend a $ on a rag telling me how great the latest Honda, Toyota or BMW is when i can read it online for free.

I'm with you.....I watch it religiously and enjoy it. But they suck at providing any meaningful content in their reviews. Almost like they don't want to anger any of the manufacturers.
