Can you install rear spoiler on C7 with double sided tape?

You can, but there's a lot of pressure on it and long-term, depending on how good the insulation is , it Might come loose. That's why Chevy bolts it on. At least 3 Bolts recommended.

I've seen people with tape only installs on here. I'm sure it would be fine, but I'm also sure if a taped on spoiler went flying off they aren't in any hurry to post about it on the internet.

From what I understand they can not be ordered as an installed item. It is also listed as "Does not fit Z51". The reason for that is the Z51 spoiler (and the GS/Z06) uses 9 bolts to hold it on. The High Wing Spoiler shown in the pictures only uses 7 bolts to hold it on. This leaves 2 exposed extra bolt holes in the rear cover. Note the GS and Z06 have a wider rear cover but the bolt holes are the same afaik.

I have a Z51 and removed the stock spoiler to mount the High Wing spoiler. I used two plastic body panel plugs and had them painted to match. Then I silicone them in the extra holes. It's not a perfect solution but it works perfectly and no one has ever asked about them.

I added a picture so you can see what I mean.

Yes. Google "Dar Spoilers" They have the spoiler you like and have a video that shows you how to install it with the 3M super tape.

You don't need to install all rear spoilers with bolts.... just the ones you want to keep!

That high wing spoiler sure looks good. I think I would want it bolted on, but the 3M tape would probably work well too.

That wing spoiler is the best-looking one out there! If I thought I could replace my Z51 spoiler with that easily, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Did you have to drill any holes or were the other 7 z51 holes used?

Same bolt pattern, don't have to drill but you have to fill two... One on each side as shown in the picture.
